On September 19th 2022, Ultimate Media Consult sent out a call for journalists to apply for a multimedia journalism and digital skills training. The trainings happening in Hoima City from October 23rd-28th 2022 and Mbale City from November 27th- December 2nd 2022 are supported by the U.S Mission in Uganda.

Selection process of journalists
We received 160 applications from journalists from different media houses across Uganda. After a transparent review process by a panel from the Ultimate Media Consult team, 30 journalists were selected for the training in Hoima City and 30 journalists for the training in Mbale City.
